Description/Origin: Carrie Marshall is the unique result of having a mix of Human and Alien DNA. Her father arrived in Paragon City during a Portal Corp. experiment gone wrong. He was pulled through a dimensional doorway, from an alternate reality Earth, with no hope of return. Possessing abilities beyond those of a typical human he decided to aid the efforts in Paragon City and become a licensed hero. One day, he got word that members of The Family were holding a woman hostage in a nearby abandoned office. Being the hero that he was, he came to the woman's aid. She said her name was Laura Marshall. The two of them fell in love, and years later bore a single child: Carrie. From birth, carrie displayed her father's innate ability to manipulate and harness the energy in the air and objects around her. Shortly after her birth, however, her father vanished during one of his routine partrols. Carrie has given herself the name Kinova, and has continued the work of her father, hoping to one day uncover the truth about her father's mysterious disappearence.
